Nuit Organic Cotton Set is a pajama made from 100% organic cotton with traditional Indian block prints. The pajama set consists of a comfortable shirt with regular fit and long sleeves. The shirt has a button closure at the front and a small collar with rounded edges as well as contrasting piping along the collar edge and the front placket closure.
The trousers are designed in a comfortable regular fit with elastic at the waist. The pajama set is offered as a set and is available in two sizes.
This product is made using handmade block printing, a traditional craft technique from India. Wooden blocks are hand cut and used as stamps. The blocks, made from wood such as teak, maple and pear wood, are hand cut into a myriad of intricate patterns. The blocks are dipped in color and then manually pressed onto the fabric. This process is repeated until the fabric is completely covered. The Indian craftsmen demand precision to ensure a perfect finish. There are no machines involved in this printing technique, only human hands, creating small variations and irregularities that are the charm and uniqueness of this process.
