The Nellie Waffle Suzani Vest presents a cool statement vest with a detachable belt for a more feminine shape. The vest is short, has wide shoulders and pockets in the front. This vest is made in a waffle-textured cotton decorated with colorful Suzani embroidery all over. The vest is lined with 100% organic cotton.

This Suzani piece is not only filled with beautiful colors - the embroidery is also done by hand. The Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans who use the tambour to create a unique and vibrant Suzani embroidery pattern. The name "Suzani" comes from the Persian word "su-zan," meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the complex chain stitch characteristic of Suzani embroidery.
